“Cinéma-monde” Students Attend the Globe Docs Festival

November 13, 2018

Students in the class, “Cinéma-monde: Global Challenges on Film” watched the riveting documentary “Danseur” at the GlobeDocs Festival on October 13, 2018 at 11am in the Brattle Theatre. The film interviews male ballet dancers who discuss their passion for ballet, despite bullying and gender norms.

The First-Year Seminars Program is an interdisciplinary community of scholars, teachers, and students. FYS faculty members design courses based on their research interests and creative pedagogical impulses. Seminars incorporate field trips, guest speakers, visits to museums, historic places, theatre performances, and various cultural events.
